摘要：In this past 50 years, an essential part of information technologies is to make communication and computation faster, more reliable and secure. People have already achieved great successes in building a connected world with Internet and smart devices, resulting in the explosion of global data. Recent years have presented new challenges in understanding and reasoning about data, in particular, with artificial intelligence. In this talk, I briefly introduce some of our past interdisciplinary works in information systems, such as emerging storage devices、DNA computing systems and quantum communication systems. Then I talk about some recent development of deep learning and discuss several of its potential applications including finance.
