报告题目：Scalar curvature plus mean curvature flows on compact manifolds

Abstract: We first review some results on the Yamabe flow. Then we apply a closed related geometric flow to tackle the so-called constant scalar curvature and constant mean curvature problem on compact manifolds with boundary. Next we give the main ideas of this flow in a relatively simpler case (namely negative Yamabe constant) and sketch some results in the positive Yamabe constant case. This talk is based on joint works with Liming Sun (Rutgers University) and Pak Tung Ho (Sogang University, Korea).
