Title:Generic dynamics of Mean Curvature Flow
Abstract:Mean curvature flow is an important geometric flow which develops singularities in finite time. Blowing up singularities, we get an object called shrinkers. We view the mean curvature flow as a dynamical system and show that after a generic perturbation on the initial data, the perturbed flow can avoid all compact nonspherical singularities and noncompact conical singularities. The key is to prove that a positive perturbation on initial data would drift to the first eigenfunction direction after long time. This is a joint work with Ao Sun.
