Abstract: The aim of this presentation is to initiate the discussion about how the data-driven technologies can be applied in the industry. The report includes three case studies that are chosen as hot topics in the industry: artificial intelligence (AI), digital twin, and prescriptive maintenance. These techniques are demonstrated on the application of manufacturing domain, civil infrastructure, and steam system respectively.

Biography: Xiaofei Cui is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) approved by Engineering Council. She is an experienced asset risk and reliability engineer and product life cycle manager with track-record of managing and delivering high-profile projects. Her technical interest includes engineering management science, asset risk and reliability analysis, data-driven techniques, decision support, and product life cycle sustainability.
