报告人：Alessandro Portaluri教授是变分法中的拓扑和辛几何方法领域国际知名的专家，在著名期刊例如ARMA，Advance Math, JDE, CVPDE 等发表了50多篇论文，目前是都灵大学的正教授以及Journal Of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics的编委。

摘要：This last lecture is devoted to prove the classical Morse index theorem in the case of general conormal boundary conditions. This proof is essentially based on the spectral theory of Sturm-Liouville operators and on the spectral flow formula proved in the previous lecture. The case of periodic, Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions will be explicitly investigated. If time permits, the classical result Riemannian Morse index theorem will be discussed.
