Title: Some improvements on Stein's square function and local smoothing estimate for fractional Schrodinger equations

Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss some recent improvements on the L^p estimate for Stein's square function, and the local smoothing estimate for fractional Schrodinger equations, based on joint works with Shengwen Gan and Changkeun Oh. The main methods we used are polynomial partitioning and nested polynomial Wolff.

报告人简介：吴澍坤，2021年毕业于美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳香槟分校，师从调和分析专家李晓春教授。论文发表在Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, Mathematische Annalen等国际高水平期刊上。目前工作于美国加州理工学院。
